The story - Back in September '07, my family and myself were involved in a serious road traffic accident. The accident resulted in the loss of the youngest four children, Keavy, Thor, Angel and Willow. This loss is one that was felt across the nation, indeed messages came in from across the world. We can never thank enough everyone who showed their support in so many ways. The Police, Fire and Ambulance services were outstanding. The Air Ambulance also attended, twice.

One thing you come to realise in circumstances like this, is that the emrgency services do a fantastic, extremely difficult, job. Also, the Air Ambulance is a vital service, especially in rural areas like Lincolnshire. As the Air Ambulance is not Government funded, we figured that trying to help raise money would be an ideal way to say thank you.

To that end, a bike ride, a fishing match and an charity auction have all been organised and run. The final total for the bike ride is not in yet, the fishing match raised around about £1500 and the auction, to date, has raised £6500.

A huge thank you has to go to everyone who has helped, competed, bid or raised money in any way. The companies below all generously donated to the Charity Auction, which was held at Driffield on the 11th of May 2008. Big thanks to LRO & Live promotions for allowing me to hold the auction there, also to Jerry Thurston for doing such a great job hosting the auction.
